On Thursday, December 25, 2025, Dorrie’s website and Becoming Hazel was displayed on a billboard in Times Square! The 55 feet by 31 feet billboard is located at 1500 Broadway, between 43rd and 44th streets, above Carlo’s Bake Shop, in New York City, New York.
Over a period of 24 hours, beginning at 28 minutes past midnight on December 25, information about Dorrie’s novel Becoming Hazel was displayed for 15 seconds every hour at the 28th minute of each hour. The billboard is also streamed live on the Times Square Billboard website.

Dorrie’s novel Becoming Hazel has won a Silver Award in the 8th annual Author Shout Book Awards!
Becoming Hazel is listed on the Recommended Read Winners page of the Author Shout website.
December 7, 2025
On Sunday, December 7, 2025, Dorrie was a guest on author Paula Vail’s podcast Wellness Inspired. The podcast aired live over Los Angeles radio station KMET 1490 AM at 8 am Pacific time and 11 am Eastern. The show is now available to listen as a podcast over the KMET website. The first four books in the Inherited Treasures series were featured at the grand opening of Reading Glass Books, located in the Quaker Bridge Mall in Lawrence Township, New Jersey.
The grand opening celebration included a live Facebook feed.
Becoming Hazel, Saints & Deceivers, Hoofers & Hooch, and Gangsters & Reels were also featured in the Reading Glass Books at the Cumberland Mall, located at 3849 South Delsea Drive in Vineland, New Jersey.
